Potable water: drinking water

Grey water: water from baths and showers

Black water: all waste water other than grey water

Sewage: a mixture of grey and black water

Green water: waste water treated to a standard suitable for toilet flushing and garden use

Sewerage: drains and sewers that convey sewage

Sewage treatment: the removal of toxicity from waste water and the sustainable recovery of water, energy and nutrients from sewage

Sustainability: an overused and devalued term - to Albion it means being environmentally responsible for everything we do
