Albion Water has been delivering a bulk supply of potable and non-potable water to Shotton Paper, UPM Kymmene’s state-of-the-art newsprint plant in Wales, since 1999.

To date it has now supplied over 65 million cubic metres of water to the mill (enough to fill 26,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools). This innovative supply contract continues to offer significant efficiency gains, a more flexible pricing and delivery structure and the prospect of significant carbon savings to meet the mill’s evolving supply and production objectives.

The provision of inset appointments such as the one at Shotton Paper, demonstrates that Albion Water has the experience and track record to offer equally innovative and cost-effective water-based solutions to other non-domestic customers throughout England and Wales.

Consultancy services

Over the past 15 years, Albion Water has provided water and wastewater consultancy services to industrial players in the following sectors: brewing/distilling, chemicals, dairy, food, fuel, health, manufacturing, paper, pharmaceuticals, power, quarrying, retail and steel.
