Fighting for a better deal

The Government believes that the promotion of effective competition is the best way to protect consumers' interests. We know this to be true in the gas, electricity and telecommunications markets. Unfortunately, domestic or household customers cannot currently choose to have Albion Water as their water company unless they buy a house on an estate where we have an inset appointment Developers.

Albion Water is working hard to persuade the Government to increase customer choice as the most effective way of raising standards in the water industry.

We will continue to promote the case for consumer choice with Government, regulators and consumer bodies.
