Albion launches a Special Assistance Fund for Knowle Village customers.
Following on from customer feedback to our 2009/10 billing cycle, Albion has set up a Special Assistance Fund (SAF) for domestic customers at our Knowle Village site.
The SAF will help customers who are trying to pay their bills but who are having difficulties doing so for reasons of severe financial hardship or personal circumstances. The SAF is a restricted fund and a number of criteria must be met to be eligible. The SAF will apply to the billing year 2010/11.
‘We know that many people are experiencing financial hardship, especially now as a result of the recession. Through our Special Assistance Fund we will be able to help some of our customers who are struggling to pay their bills.’ commented Malcolm Jeffery, Albion’s Finance Director.
