Role: Adoption Inspector (full-time)
Salary: £35k p.a.
Location: Biddisham/Hybrid

Description
As an Adoptions Inspector, you will be responsible for liaising with developers to ensure that they install drainage infrastructure to an acceptable standard.
You will spend significant time out in the field, visiting developers to inspect and survey drains and sewers as they are laid. You will be responsible for ensuring that the pipes are laid according to approved plans, identifying any defects, and ensuring they are rectified.
You will also be responsible for dealing with paperwork related to the adoption of the new drainage assets from the developer by Albion Water.
While much of the work is initially likely to take place in the South of the UK, you may be required to cover developments elsewhere from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
- Background experience in drainage infrastructure construction, adoptions
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work productively with developers to resolve any issues.
- Full UK driving license.
- Previous experience with GIS systems and surveying would be an advantage but is not essential.
