Role: Sewage Treatment Works Operator (full-time)
Location: Knowle, Fareham.
Salary: £26k p.a.
Start: Immediate
The role involves the day-to-day operation of a wastewater treatment plant and associated sewerage assets. This will include completing monitoring of the treatment process, management of sludge, and basic maintenance and repairs to the plant.
Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment processes would be advantageous but is not essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable working under their own initiative and will be required to work outdoors in all weathers; this will include participation in out-of-hours standby work.
A UK driving license is essential, and a vehicle will be provided for business use.
